The Italian Sea Group presents Perini Navi fleet
The Italian Sea Group (TISG), global operator in luxury yachting, has unveiled the new Perini Navi fleet, one year after it acquired the brand. The fleet, named Genesis, includes 48m, 56m, and 77m yachts.
The company says it wanted to ‘create a line of sailing yachts with the characteristic and iconic elements of Perini Navi interpreted in a modern and exclusive way: large spaces, brightness, easy sailing, and comfort’.
“I am very proud of the new Perini Navi fleet and the progress made so far over the past year,” says Giovanni Costantino, founder & CEO of The Italian Sea Group. “By transferring the comfort of motor yachts to sailing yachts, we have succeeded in creating a harmonious synergy between two worlds thanks to our already strong expertise, which has been strengthened and expanded through the Perini Navi acquisition.
“The market is showing particular sensitivity to our sailing yachts, and our established reputation for design, quality and innovation will help strengthen the group’s expansion and growth strategy.”
The new 48m yacht will be offered in two versions: regatta and cruise.
TISG says the new generation hull lines will allow even more comfortable sailing while the open stern, equipped with a transformer, will facilitate access to the sea offering great comfort particularly at anchorage.
The sail system handling system will continue to be concentrated in the two command consoles, with a series of joysticks that facilitate single-man control.
In the interest of sustainability, it will also be possible to install solar panels.
The 56m, Perini Navi’s most iconic sailing yacht, will be redesigned through the collaboration with Malcom McKeon Yacht Design, which, with a strong orientation to sailing performance, will develop the naval platform and sail plan, as well as contribute to the styling of the exterior.
The new sail plan, in carbon, will ensure comfort and sailing performance through the use of Perini Navi’s ‘sail handling system’.
The 77m will be the first platform on which to install the Falcon rig. The sailing yacht will have two masts that will give great advantages in terms of navigation and safety. There will be an electro-hydraulic mast-sail management system. The new sailing yacht will be the first platform to have a full-size spa-beach club with folding terraces that are connected with the aft beach.
