Railblaza – which manufactures electronics, mounting systems and accessories – has launched a Titan Grip Suction Mount.

The company says it’s capable of performing as a rod holder, drink holder, camera mount and more. It’s designed to ‘grip on tight and not let go’ using a robust locking suction mechanism.

“The versatility, adaptability and dependability of the Titan Grip Suction Mount are what makes it special,” says Andrew Moczygemba, CEO, Railblaza USA (pictured above).

“Anglers can trust in it to stand strong, even in the roughest conditions and no matter what they’re using it for. The Titan Grip Suction Mount embodies our commitment to innovation and will allow users to tackle their next adventures with confidence.”

The product has a 3.75-inch diameter suction cup, holds onto smooth surfaces and uses an innovative locking mechanism to engage the suction power and lock it firmly into place and is available from Railblaza’s network of dealers and retailers for around $30.00.

The company’s website talks of ‘gumption’ being sold separately and ‘badassery’ which could make you think it all hails from the USA. But, it’s doesn’t. Products are manufactured in New Zealand, and shipped around the world (although there is a big hub in Texas).

Earlier this year the manufacturer appointed Explr of Sweden, a distributor of paddlesport products in Scandinavia, to oversee growth in Finland and Denmark. That followed Explr’s investment into a new warehouse and showroom facility in Linköping, Sweden. Explr says it has grown to become one of Railblaza’s most important strategic partners within Europe.

Railblaza says that sustainability is a priority when it comes to designing products (and it has an extensive product range). It chooses plastics which minimise the use of ‘chemicals of high concern’ during production. Co-molding processes are avoided as much as possible, because these complicate post consumer recycling efforts. Furthermore, it readily provides information about product compositions for transparency purposes (and admits that sometimes this raises costs, but the company always supports ecological objectives first). All parts are made from high quality, UV stabilised, engineering polymers, stainless steel and anodised aluminium.
