Pure Latitude Boat Club expands ahead of South Coast Boat Show
Boat and yacht share company Pure Latitude has expanded its operations by opening a new base in Lymington Yacht Haven.
The company, which now operates a fleet of over 20 yachts and motorboats, has doubled its Lymington fleet, creating an additional base for both new and existing members. Members can enjoy two Hanse sailboats (345 and 348), plus an Axopar 28 adventure boat and Beneteau Antares 30 flybridge motorcruiser.
Pure Latitude MD Martin Gray says: “We are very excited to be launching a standalone base offering a range of boating options at Lymington. Increased demand for our flexible sharing model has enabled us to expand our operations and Lymington is the obvious base. It is a beautiful town, and the Yacht Haven has some of the best views on the Solent, not to mention perfect access to the western bays and harbours.”
The new base offers both private and group training to every level of sailor. Membership includes the use of the fleet across the other three Pure Latitude locations in Port Hamble, Plymouth and Windsor.
Gray continues: “Our boat share model is the modern way to boat. It offers a cost-effective, sustainable, flexible way to sail. It is boating, but better. You focus on spending your time actually boating and do away with the time-consuming and costly maintenance responsibilities”.
The company, which last year reported major growth, says it plans to also expand its operations in Plymouth and Windsor, and is investigating new locations on the south coast.
Pure Latitude Boat Club was founded by Gray in 2007. Pure Latitude Boat Club says it has created a proven a sharing subscription model that delivers greater flexibility and variety to its members than individual boat ownership.
As an RYA registered training centre, Pure Latitude also delivers theory and practical courses across both sail and motorboats exclusively for members. Bespoke training is also available.
Pure Latitude Boat Club will exhibit at the South Coast Boat Show later this week.
