Premier Agapi Boat Club opens new UK base
Following substantial growth at its flagship boat subscription club at Swanwick Marina, the Premier Agapi Boat Club is expanding to Chichester on the UK South Coast.
An open day will be held at Premier’s Chichester Marina on 6 March, with one of the club’s fleet – the Agapi 950 – on display on the water.
In 2021, the Premier Agapi Boat Club expanded its boat fleet in the UK to include an Agapi 800 and an Agapi 950 powered by a single 425hp Yamaha V8 outboard.
Established in 2020, the Premier Agapi Boat Club, offers a subscription membership model suited to both experienced and novice boaters. With a variety of membership and training options on offer starting from less than £300 per month, members can tailor a fee plan to reflect their experience, boat choice, level of usage and service requirements.
Members can also use the growing number of Agapi Boat Club Centres across Europe, allowing UK members to use boats from 17 centres in mainland Spain, the Balearics, Crete and Scandinavia.
In January 2022, MIN reported that the electric-powered Candela C-8 will soon be available for boat sharing in Stockholm and Mallorca through Agapi Boat Club.
From the two UK club bases at Chichester and Swanwick on the Hamble River, Premier Agapi Club members are free to explore Premier’s selection of marinas across the Solent including options for overnight stays.
“The Premier Agapi Boat Club really works for the large number of people that would really enjoy time on the water but are put off boating by the costs of ownership and maintenance and acquiring the competency to go boating safely,” says Andy Mills, Premier Marinas business development director.
“We are delighted to be able to bring our boat club to Chichester Marina and open up a new location for both existing and new members – Chichester Harbour is a designated area of outstanding natural beauty that offers a myriad of quiet anchorages to discover and easy access to the popular cruising grounds of the Solent.”
