Oyster is to host a free webinar which it says will help sailors choose the right yacht for a circumnavigation.

It’s taking place on Wednesday 22nd March – 18.00 GMT – registration need to be completed in advance.

It says the session will provide useful insights and advice from experts on the most suitable Oyster models for a circumnavigation. The essential qualities of a true bluewater cruiser will be unpicked alongside the must-have features and set-up. Plus there will be invaluable tips and insights for sailing around the world.

The session will be led by Oyster World Rally director Allie Smith.

Oyster recently announced that double Olympic gold medallist Shirley Robertson has narrated the story of the Oyster 495 in a YouTube series, produced and directed by Vertigo Films. All episodes of “Building the Oyster 495” are available to view on Oyster’s Yachts YouTube channel.
