Osmosis enters supply agreement with Indmar
Florida-based turn-key telematics provider Osmosis has reached a new supply agreement with Liberty Technologies, the parent company of PCM Marine Engines and Indmar Marine Engines, and a subsidiary of Correct Craft.
Under the new deal, Osmosis will leverage its platform and experience with PCM to provide connectivity to Indmar engines.
The Osmosis platform enables OEMs to connect end customers to their boats through custom-branded mobile and web applications over a cellular connection. OEMs and distribution partners gain access to remote diagnostics for improved customer service, quicker feedback for product enhancements, and improved products over time through over-the-air software updates.
The news comes as Osmosis reveals it has recently achieved a pair of significant milestones, reaching 10,000 units in the field and 1 million engine hours logged.
“Achieving 10,000 units and 1 million hours is a result of tireless dedication put in by the Osmosis team over the past three years,” says Sean Marrero, president of Osmosis. “I could not be more proud of them.
“Expanding our platform to include Indmar is a natural extension of our close cooperation with PCM and their boat customers. I am more convinced than ever about the important role connectivity will play in enhancing the customer experience. Our team is eager to combine our platform with Indmar’s incredible lineup of engines.”

Mark McKinney, president of Liberty Technologies, adds: “We are excited to take all we have learned through working with Osmosis and provide this technology and its benefits to a whole new group of boaters.”
In November 2022, MIN reported that Correct Craft had acquired Indmar, which had been family-owned for 50 years prior.
