Olympic Yacht Show to open in Greece this week
The second edition of the Olympic Yacht Show is to be held 7-10 October 2022 at the renovated facilities of Olympic Marine in Lavrio.
Like last year, the Olympic Yacht show will be held across the floating pontoons and on land, but organisers, Ondeck Events, say it will be bigger and even more diverse.
It’s reported that the show has already attracted the attention of some of the largest yachting companies in Greece, while other international companies and shipyards have confirmed their participation as guests.
Some of the Greek shipyards present at this year’s Olympic Yacht Show 2022 will include Olympic YachΙS, Skipper-BSK, Technohull, Rafnar Hellas, Rock Marine, Seafighter, Olympic Ribs, and Onda Tenders.
Over 100 boats and yachts are estimated to be on display, with premiers including Swan Shadow, Olympic 45 SRC, Ribco 100 G2 X, and Rafnar 1200 Cross Cabin.
“The Olympic Yacht Show aims to become a significant communication platform for the Greek shipbuilding industry,” says Gerasimos Gerolimatos, head of the Olympic Yacht Show Organising Committee. “Greek yachts must have their own local show at home in order to attract foreign buyers; this is one of the main reasons for visiting the show.”
