Southern Spars, New Zealand-based designer and manufacturer of high-performance composite yacht spars, has appointed Nick Bice as its sales director for grand prix and performance yachts.

In the new role, Bice will be at the forefront of driving the company’s efforts in delivering cutting-edge solutions to the competitive sailing market.

With a career deeply rooted in the sport of sailing, Bice brings plenty of expertise and experience to his new role. He served as the chief technical development officer during the last edition of the Volvo Ocean Race in 2017/18.
