New Cyprus office for BWA Yachting

BWA Yachting, the superyacht service agency, has opened a new office in Cyprus. Based at Limassol Marina, the office is set to help superyacht captains with shore assistance, port operations, provisioning and supplies, logistics solutions, and hospitality and events management.

This comes a few weeks after the announcement of new offices in Egypt, the Suez Canal, and the Red Sea. The company says all of these will help create an even smoother cross-Mediterranean yachting experience for clients.

Petros Josephides is the new director at BWA Yachting Cyprus.

“After Greece and Egypt, adding Cyprus to our map will further expand BWA Yachting’s footprint in the East Med and allow us to offer a better cruising experience to our clients,” says Yann Prat, chief sales officer at BWA Yachting. “We are all happy and excited about Petros’ input and contribution to our company.”

Aside from the warm weather, sandy beaches, and sparkling Mediterranean seas, Cyprus attracts visitors for its many natural and historical sites as well as sports facilities including golf and tennis. The island’s resort towns are also home to dozens of vibrant bars, restaurants, and nightclubs.

Although the new Cyprus office is up and running just in time for the end of the high season, the company is looking forward to welcoming the many yachts that visit the island or plan a long-term stay in Limassol Marina throughout the winter months.

Recently the America’s Cup announced its association with BWA Yachting, appointing it as the official operations partner for the AC37 superyacht program. As such, BWA will be responsible for managing all the event berth bookings, access to VIP experiences and the social calendar.
