New bow rider model from Finnish boat builder
Finnish boat builder Yamarin has launched a new six-metre model in its bow rider range. The Yamarin 59 BR will be presented for the first time at boot Düsseldorf, 21 to 29 January 2023.
“The new Yamarin fits in the popular size class under six metres and offers plenty of open space for enjoying yourself on the water. The design includes a comfortable seating arrangement that is ideal for socialising, easy access to the water from the wide swimming platforms, and a convenient sundeck,” says Johan Finnberg, Yamarin marketing manager.
Yamaha engine and good fuel economy
The company says that the wide sturdy hull makes the 59BR extremely stable, while the largest engine option of a Yamaha 115hp outboard produces a maximum speed of 37 knots.
The hull of the Yamarin 59BR was designed specifically with a Yamaha engine in mind. According to Yamarin, it’s the engine/hull combination that ensures good fuel economy with a reported consumption of 0.7 litres per nautical miles at a speed range of 19 to 24 knots with a 115hp outboard.
The Yamarin 59BR is supplied with the standard Yamarin Q smart display, which includes Navionics electronic navigation charts and a radio that can be used to stream music from a smart device. The Q Guard anti-theft service is another standard feature on the smart display, which enables owners to monitor the location of their boat remotely. A factory-fitted accessory kit extends Q Guard’s functions to include battery, bilge and engine status.
Optional accessories include a fish finder, sonar and a remote control for easy operation.
Spacious and functional layout
The floor and walkways of the 59 BR are covered by an attractive Softdeck non-slip deck material which comes as standard. Protection against the weather is provided by a high aft canvas which covers the passenger area.
The aft passenger area comprises a spacious sofa with a backrest that can be lowered to form a comfortable sunbed. The seats for the skipper and navigator swivel, and an adjustable table can be placed in front of the sofa.
The wide platforms on the aft deck on both sides of the Yamaha outboard can serve as swimming platforms and access routes from the dock, as well as practical casting places for anglers.
Practical stowage fore and aft
Practical stowage space can be found under both the aft sofa and the bow seat, as well as inside the consoles. The skipper’s console boasts a cup holder and a small compartment next to the footwell, while on the navigator’s side, the grab handle has two additional cup holders. Smart devices can be charged from the skipper’s console and inside the navigator’s glovebox.
