Neander appoints senior engineer
German outboard manufacturer, Neander Motors, has appointed James Barratt as senior engineer. In his new role, Barratt will be responsible for leading and managing product developments, including transmission design, testing and production.
James Barratt says: “I’m very excited to be joining the Neander team. For me, it’s clear diesel is still very much the future for marine applications and the Dtorque 50 has enormous potential within multiple markets. I hope my engineering experience from a number of outboard projects over the years will help to take the already proven Dtorque 50 to the next level.”
Björn Thomsen, CEO of Neander Motors, adds: “I am very pleased to welcome James to the team, it is clear he is hugely passionate about our product and offering. I am confident he can bring his extensive knowledge and expertise to help us develop what is already an excellent product into something out of this world.”
