Lomac presents new Turismo 7.0 at Genoa Boat Show
Lomac, the Milan-based yard that builds inflatable boats, will hold the world premiere of its new Turismo 7.0 at the 2022 Genoa Boat Show (22-27 September).
Designed by Federico Fiorentino, renowned for his experience developing high-performance hulls, the new 7m boat will be debuting on stand BA39.
Over the next four years, Lomac says it will be redefining its entire Turismo range backed by expertise and investment in high-end research, development and design. The first model is the new Turismo 7.0, said to be one of the best-sellers in the Lomac range.
“The aim is to become the new benchmark in the 7-metre segment and chart a new course for the Turismo range, with compact boats that have a modern and sophisticated design combined with extraordinary hull performance and high-end comfort and quality,” says Paolo Lo Manto, who heads the company with his cousin Fabrizio Lo Manto.
Designed for – but not limited to – family use, the Turismo 7.0 has a vertical stempost and is said to be comfortable and dry in all weather and sea conditions. The deck follows the tradition of Mediterranean boats by providing forward and aft sun pads, the latter of which can be converted into a dinette with a central table and C-shaped seating for six to eight guests on board.
The new 7.0 features a high freeboard and the pilot and co-pilot seats are described as sporty and stable.
Earlier this year, MIN reported that Lomac has partnered with Yamaha for new rigging and outboard solutions for its inflatable boats.
The Turismo 7.0 will be available in two versions: one featuring shades of white and grey, and the other in darker colour tones.
At Genoa, Lomac will also be showcasing its high-end GranTurismo and Adrenalina lines, including the new entry announced for the 2023 season – the GranTurismo 10.5, which features a new high-performance hull with a deep-V hull and two Yamaha V6 engines rated 300 horsepower each.
