Italy’s Porto Mirabello to host new luxury tender show
The first Mirabello Flute, a new boat show dedicated to the luxury tender segment, will take place from 11-14 March 2023 at the docks of Porto Mirabello at La Spezia in northern Italy.
Flute is an acronym derived from “Floating Luxury Tender Exhibition”.
Organisers Navigo and Porto Mirabello say the port will “come alive” with exhibitors from the tender segment, thanks to the assignment of some docks exclusively to the presence of tenders — new and used — displayed in the water as well as on land.
The event programme includes daily sea trials and land areas dedicated to welcoming guests, as well as a programme of live music and entertainment.
Proceedings during 14 March will be dedicated to hospitality and meeting with the captains of Yare — Yachting Aftersales and Refit Experience, a renowned international networking event for megayacht captains, scheduled from 15-17 March.
“Mirabello Flute was born from an idea shared with Pino di Mora of Hill Robinson and interpreting a market need,” says CEO and founder of Porto Mirabello, Alessandro Menozzi.
“An exhibition dedicated exclusively to tenders and toys, which currently live with less protagonism within more or less specific sections of other exhibitions, but do not have their own dedicated promotional event. Porto Mirabello has always worked for the growth of this segment and wants to offer a meeting point between professional operators, in the period preceding the 2023 nautical season and which is still expected to be full of opportunities and business.”
Pietro Angelini, general manager of Navigo, adds: “Today the tender is no longer just an accessory tool but carries with it at the same time style, technology, innovation and elements of sustainability. It is certain that the tender is a protagonist boat, visible and full of beauty and fun. It is a pleasure to [integrate] Yare with a preview like this, in which even the captains can experiment and try [tenders]”.
