Host ports announced for Tall Ships Races 2025
Sail Training International has confirmed the four European host ports of the Tall Ships Races 2025 as Le Havre, Dunkirk, Aberdeen and Kristiansand.
The Tall Ships Races 2025 will take the tall ships fleet through the English Channel and North Sea on a series of challenging racecourses alongside some maritime celebrations and festivities.
Sail Training International says it’s chosen the host ports as they’ll embrace its mission of youth development and international friendship and understanding. The event — 4 July to 2 August — will offer three races and a scenic cruise-in-company.
“Each edition of the Tall Ships Races sees young people from around the world challenge themselves to do something amazing as they overcome fears, rise to challenges and enjoy the adventure of a lifetime,” says Alan James, CEO for Tall Ships Races International.
“We hope that The Tall Ships Races 2025 will be an attractive route for vessel operators and will offer exciting and adventurous opportunities for the thousands of young trainees that we expect to take part.”
