Freedom Boat Club set to expand UK franchise initiative
Freedom Boat Club, a division of Brunswick Corporation, is looking to scale up its European footprint.
The UK operation is now embarking on a growth strategy to further open access to top boating destinations throughout the UK for its global membership base. Providing 35 club locations across UK, France and Spain, Freedom Boat Club recently launched their first three UK franchise operations, with Lake Windermere welcoming members from September 2022, Torquay recently opened their doors and Loch Lomond will be in action at the start of the upcoming summer season.
Freedom Boat Club UK are now keen to offer new partners across UK regions the chance to join this evolving franchise sector of the business. With a range of core values, most importantly being able to make boating accessible, affordable and easy for all, this is an exceptional proposition to become a key part of an inspiring development scheme and instrumental in further augmenting the Freedom brand throughout the UK.
With the 2023 boating season fast approaching, Freedom plan to expand and grow their top-quality selection of marinas and boating options available, so their wide membership base can benefit from even greater choice. For owner-operators, entrepreneurs or marine dealerships who are passionate about the boating lifestyle and interested in owning a business with great growth potential, Freedom Boat Club could be just the right fit. With a successful business model that works well across the US, Canada, Europe and through to Asia and Australia, sharing the vision of freedom is a golden opportunity.
Whether a coastal marina offering sparkling waters and stunning views or an inland zone with charming cruising grounds, all types of members can relish additional location options, whether new or experienced leisure boaters. Destinations of interest include Bristol, Cardiff, Liverpool, Newcastle, Aberdeen, Brighton/Eastbourne and The Thames, to highlight just a few. Exploring new waters, appreciating different landscapes and enjoying club house experiences, members can also be comfortable in the knowledge these hubs will meet the excellent Freedom Boat Club standards.
Franchise Development Manager EMEA, Leontien Moulijn, commented: “Freedom Boat Club enjoy a close relationship with their franchise clubs and support them with knowledge, resources and systems to run a smooth operation. Our proven business approach makes it very easy to launch, own and operate your own club so that partners benefit from our recurring revenue model, minimal investment and wholesale boat financing options – all of which make up a recipe for success. Growing fresh opportunities across the UK is a thrilling prospect for 2023 and we look forward to welcoming new clubs into the Brunswick family”.
