Freedom Boat Club seeks to expand UK franchise initiative
Freedom Boat Club says it is now embarking on a growth strategy to further open access to top boating destinations throughout the UK for its global membership base.
Already providing 35 club locations across UK, France and Spain, Freedom Boat Club (part of the Brunswick Group) has recently launched its first three UK franchise operations. Lake Windermere welcomed members from September 2022, Torquay recently opened its doors and Loch Lomond will be in action at the start of the upcoming summer season.
Freedom says it is now keen to offer new partners across UK regions the chance to join the franchise sector of the business. The company says it is looking for owner-operators, entrepreneurs or marine dealerships who are passionate about the boating lifestyle and interested in owning a business with great growth potential. In particular, destinations of interest include Bristol, Cardiff, Liverpool, Newcastle, Aberdeen, Brighton/Eastbourne and The Thames.
“Freedom Boat Club enjoy a close relationship with their franchise clubs and support them with knowledge, resources and systems to run a smooth operation,” says franchise development manager EMEA, Leontien Moulijn. “Our proven business approach makes it very easy to launch, own and operate your own club so that partners benefit from our recurring revenue model, minimal investment and wholesale boat financing options – all of which make up a recipe for success.
“Growing fresh opportunities across the UK is a thrilling prospect for 2023 and we look forward to welcoming new clubs into the Brunswick family.”
