Fire-detection manufacturer names new distributor
Expanding the scope of its European market share, Sea-Fire Europe, a maritime fire detection and suppression solutions specialist, has signed Slovenian Stal Mar as its newest distributor.
Founded in 1991, Ljubljana, Slovenia-based Stal Mar currently offers a wide range of recreational marine services including vessel and aftermarket equipment sales and service. It has plans in place to expand its Sea-Fire business into the OEM, workboat and commercial fishing market segments.
Ernie Ellis, Sea-Fire Europe managing director, says: “Slovenia is a burgeoning hub of boatbuilding within Europe. Partnering with Stal Mar aligns with our global growth initiatives. They have an in-depth understanding of the marine industry and connections with regional OEMs.”

US-based manufacturer Sea-Fire Marine and master distributor Sea-Fire Europe supply a wide range of state-of-the-art marine fire detection and suppression systems to all major international approval standards.
Earlier this month (December 2022), Sea-Fire Europe added B.I.S. Electronics to its portfolio of European distributors. B.I.S. is based in Mühbrook, Germany, and will market Sea-Fire’s extensive line of marine fire detection and clean agent suppression solutions.
