Camper & Nicholsons makes major changes to its Middle East team
Camper & Nicholsons has confirmed changes to its team in the Middle East on the first day of the Dubai International Boat Show.
The superyacht brokerage and service firm, which recently opened a new office in Dubai, has appointed Giovanni Alessi Anghini’s as managing director of Camper & Nicholsons Middle East.
Alessi Anghini commences this new role alongside his existing responsibilities as the company’s current chief technology officer.
In addition, Camper & Nicholsons has appointed Behzad Saberi as a senior sales advisor in the Middle East. Saberi will be based in Dubai and brings over 15 years of industry experience to his role, having worked in management, charter, and new construction.

“I have always harboured a passion for the marine industry, even as a young teen, and my career began crossing oceans aboard VLCC tankers, where I attained a certificate of competency to navigate vessels of unlimited size internationally,” says Saberi. “I strive to remain abreast of technological advancements and improvements in yachting, and I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experiences with clients.”

With Saberi’s appointment to the team, Camper & Nicholsons continues to strengthen its presence in the Gulf. The company says it is set to further capitalise on Dubai’s increasingly important position in the international yachting industry.
In January, C&N revealed its plans to expand in Southeast Asia and the Mediterranean after a ‘record year’. The firm reported its forecast for 2023 as ‘very positive’, being up 20 per cent compared to the same period last year.
