BWA Yachting opens new office in St Vincent and Grenadines
Superyacht agency BWA Yachting has announced the opening of BWA Yachting St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). This expansion, made in partnership with Blue Destination Services, adds to the company’s growing presence in the Caribbean, where it already operates in St Maarten, St Barth, Anguilla, Antigua, St Lucia and Puerto Rico.
“St Vincent and the Grenadines is a multi-island state, each with its own experience—from the volcanic hikes on St Vincent to the tranquil beauty of the Grenadine islands,” says Lucille Frye, chairwoman of the BWA Yachting Caribbean Hub.” Sailing through the islands is a dream for superyacht guests. Adding this new destination to a carefully curated Caribbean itinerary, supported by BWA Yachting’s world-class services, offers an unforgettable journey through the Caribbean’s most iconic yachting destinations.”
Earlier this year, BWA launched operations in Saudi Arabia, as part of its continued expansion within the Middle East. The firm also recently opened a new office in Sweden in partnership with SDK Group.
Some parts of St Vincent and the Grenadines were affected by Hurricane Beryl in July 2024, which ripped through the Caribbean and caused widespread devastation. The road to recovery is underway, and many popular locations, such as Tobago Cays Marine Park, are once again welcoming visitors.
Nichole Gun-Munro, managing partner of BWA Yachting SVG, says: “We are definitely open for business. That’s a really important part of our resilience. Yachting has always been one of the key driving forces of our economy.
The Grenadines marine path is one of the most world-famous marine routes in the Americas. It offers superyachts’ guests a unique experience, where each island has its own charm, from the black sand beaches of St Vincent to the serene bays of Bequia and beyond.”
Located at the southern end of the Caribbean Sea, St Vincent and the Grenadines is an archipelago of 32 islands, known for its appeal to sailors and yacht enthusiasts. The country offers pristine beaches, diverse marine life, and opportunities for island-hopping.
BWA Yachting SVG offers yacht clearances and formalities, berth reservations, fuel bunkering, provisioning of fresh produce and flowers, waste disposal, onboard entertainment, concierge services, and crew assistance. Additional services, such as immigration and visa support, tender boat rentals, itinerary planning and technical support, are also available.
St Vincent is also known for its role in the film industry, with Wallilabou Bay serving as a key location in the movie Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Visitors to the area can still explore remnants of the set, particularly at Port Royal.
