BoatLife Live 2022 exhibitors report sales success
BoatLife Live has reported positive sales and companies already rebooking for next year, after this weekend’s inaugural show. The organisers say there was overwhelming positive feedback on the show, the diverse range of boats, layout and visitor experience.
“I couldn’t be happier with how the show has been received, the hard work has really paid off,” says Richard Dove, director, BoatLife Events. “It’s a brilliant launchpad for the brand and we have lots of ideas for next year’s show. During the show we had a lot of companies and sponsors who visited and want to book for next year, so we may need a bigger space.”
BoatLife Live says the first day also brought in many trade visitors and there is a strong indication that the show can build a stronger trade aspect to the show and further networking events.
Despite challenges in the lead up with covid and stock availability, and during the show Storm Eunice, dedicated visitors visited the show and battled with the weather. Visitors enjoyed talks on the main stage from Pip Hare and Katie McCabe.
“The first BoatLife was a breath of fresh air, positive vibes and plenty of leads,” says Mike Cook, commercial director of BlueFin, while Andy Sims from Quick UK says: “The event for us has been really good. We have enjoyed the interactions with the customers who have been very knowledgeable about the industry, their boats and products. And we have had a very positive few days in Birmingham. Absolutely think this show will grow and we would love to be part of it.”
Mike Wright from Excel Boats agrees: “The show has been very good. It is the first Midlands boat show for quite a few years and in the first two days sales have gone through the roof. We are very pleased and hope it repeats again.”
The show organisers are currently looking at 16-19 February 2023 for the next BoatLife event.
