Azimut S7 world debut and plans for Magellano 60 uncovered
Italian boatbuilder Azimut introduced the Azimut S7 at boot Düsseldorf 2023 and unveiled plans for its Magellano 60, ahead of the 60’s premiere at Cannes Yachting Festival 2023 in September.
Azimut presented the S7, a newcomer to the S Series, at boot Düsseldorf. The Azimut S7 is the result of a collaboration between designer Alberto Mancini and the creative boutique Yachtique. The 22-meter model joins Azimut’s ‘low emission yacht’ family with reduced environmental impact, to which the shipyard is dedicating significant resources.
Yachtique, celebrating its debut design of an Azimut yacht, is an Italian creative boutique specialising in interior design and decor.

Azimut launched the low emission yacht family to offer the market a reduction in fuel consumption – and consequently in CO2 emissions – from 20 to 30 per cent compared to boats of the same weight and dimensions with traditional hard-chine hulls and shaft line propulsion.
The S7 has a triple Volvo IPS engine configuration, and optimised hull lines, designed in collaboration with P.L. Ausonio Naval Architecture. The result is a claimed reduction of up to 30 per cent in consumption and CO2 emissions at medium and high speeds.
Magellano 60
The Magellano 60 will launch in September at Cannes Yachting Festival and will complete the Magellano Series, which includes the Magellano 66, the Magellano 25M and the Magellano 30M. The 60 has been designed by Ken Freivokh (who designed the early Magellano models) – Azimut says the new model ‘integrates the refined world of sailing with the more complex world of the motor yacht’.

Azimut says: ‘The models of the Magellano Series are crossovers for true connoisseurs, owners who love long voyages full of adventure and charm. The Magellano 60 is a further step along the sustainable path that the brand has planned, and with the second-generation Dual Mode hull, she takes her rightful place as a low emission yacht’.
