A+T Instruments appoints new chief operating officer
A+T Instruments, Hampshire-based manufacturer of high-end yacht instruments, has announced Nils Jolliffe as chief operating officer.
Jolliffe is responsible for general management, scaling the business operational processes, including manufacturing, to support growth which the firm says is running at 40 per cent year on year.
“Richard Tinley and Hugh Agnew have done a great job in getting the business as far forward as it is now,” says Jolliffe. “I’ve been amazed by the range of high quality, innovative products A+T have developed in a short space of time and list of customers switching to A+T in the superyacht and race boat market is impressive. The customer-centric, fast paced, can do attitude of the team is something that really appealed to me and I’m excited to be part of helping the company continue its development and growth.
“There’s plenty more innovation to come and our customers will love the focus we’re putting on their needs coming first.”
A+T‘s director Hugh Agnew adds: “Nils is a great people person who knows the processes to build a manufacturing business and the importance of customer satisfaction. He has got a proven track record of maximising growth potential in a range of businesses.
“He’s joining an already successful, dynamic and energetic team at the perfect time to spearhead A+T’s expansion.”
Jolliffe has been working with A+T since October 2022. Previously, he was VP of Global Operations at Auxitrol Weston, Managing Director at DDC Electronics Ltd, COO at Bowman Power Ltd and held senior positions with Eaton Aerospace and Raymarine.
In November, A+T unveiled its new 520 Series. The masthead-motion wind sensors are said to be the first production unit sensors that can directly measure the acceleration, and hence velocity, at the masthead then transmit this to the instrument processor for masthead motion compensation of the measured wind.
