Introducing
AquaMarine has been manufacturing and supplying the marine industry for over 50 years, with a wealth of knowledge about all boating requirements. This knowledge has led to the development of AquaFlex control and steering cables. The AquaFlex range offers a high quality, whilst being economically priced.
Overview
Control and steering cables are one of the most critical and significant components on the craft to ensure safe passage. AquaMarine has combined high quality manufacturing processes using the latest equipment with exceptional quality control. The range is ideal for a user who requires a replacement or is looking at a new installation.
The AquaFlex range includes both universal cables suitable for both single and dual station, as well as OEM type cables specifically for use with Mercury, Mariner, Mercruiser and Evinrude in lengths from 5ft to 32ft. The range is completed with a collection of steering cables which are designed for use in most marine applications and are compatible with the AquaFlex steering helm as well as Ultraflex Compac-T and Seastar SH8050 and C230/231 helms. All AquaFlex cables can be used for both inboard and outboard installations. AquaMarine also offers steering wheels and many other accessories required for the complete job.
Performance
Control Cables.
Universal Engine Control Cables:
Standard C8, red jacket for single steering station, for use with inboards and many sterndrives and outboards. Lengths available: 5ft (1.52m) to 30ft (9.14m).
Heavy Duty C22, red jacket for single and dual steering stations, for use in heavy duty commercial applications where push-pull loads are more severe. Lengths available: 10ft (3.04m) to 32ft (9.75m).
OEM Engine Control Cables:
C5, blue jacket, for Mercury, Mariner and Mercruiser engines. Lengths available: 8ft (2.4m) to 19ft (5.79m).
C14, blue jacket, for BRP – Evinrude (OCM) engines manufactured from 1979 to date. Lengths available: 8ft (2.4m) to 18ft (5.48m).
C36, blue jacket, for Mercury and Mercruiser engines and Mercury Generation 11 series controls. Lengths available: 10ft (3.04m) to 21ft (6.4m).
Steering Cables:
M58, black jacket for AquaFlex Steering Helm, Ultraflex Compac-T and Seastar SH8050, C230/231 helms. Lengths available: 7ft (2.13m) to 16ft (4.87m).
Used By
AquaFlex cables meet most of the requirements of both the leisure and commercial marine markets.
These cables can be used for new installation or as a replacement.
