The owner of this Commander 28 spared no expense when choosing high quality materials throughout.
Entering the cabin via the heavy, sliding companionway door (an upgrade) you notice the quality immediately. The cabin is full beam and feels quite spacious for a 28-foot boat.
The owner chose the San Juan interior package which includes premium fabric, flooring and cabinetry options. The large Diamond Sea Glaze windows have custom snap Phifertex shades. The galley is starboard with rich wood cabinetry, a deep sink, two burner propane Dickinson stove, Sharp microwave, Nova Kool refrigerator, and Corian countertop.
Opposite is the dinette with facing seats which convert to a single or small double berth. The forward seat turns to face forward to become the port side pilot seat. Storage is below the dinette and seating. The main helm is forward of the galley on the starboard.
Forward of the dinette is the enclosed marine head with a Tecma fresh-water flush toilet, vanity, sink and shower system.
The V-berth is fully forward and quite large with 6" cushions providing very comfortable sleeping accommodations. Access to the quarter berth is through the cabin sole or a forward-facing space under the forward V-berth.
