Broker's Comments

This great looking and imposing Birchwood Viceroy 38 comes with a huge, light interior, and plenty of room for lounging and entertaining in either of her saloon areas, her aft deck or fly bridge - take your pick!

She's very well equipped, though some gear will need attention - her engines ran up first time when I tried them, no problem.

She hasn't been used for a while - this shows in her general husbandry, but I think that, with some work, she'll be back up to scratch and a very pleasant place to stay for extended periods, with two effective living areas - one forward, one aft - this may suit parents, or lone parents with a child or children visiting for a weekend?

Anecdotally, her 2004/5 refit included head linings, bulkhead linings, galley, heads and showers, interior lighting, props, shafts, stern seals, a complete rewire, pulpit rails, port lights and hatches.

It's plain to see that her forward heads compartment needs finishing off, but, with this done and the other work completed, she could represent a very fine vessel once more.
